Cybersecurity refers to the protection of data, programs, systems, and networks from attack. The protection of an organization’s digital assets has become a critical business need. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for information security analysts is expected to grow by 32% between 2022 and 2032.
The certificate will enable the student to:
- Understand key cybersecurity principles, including common attack vectors used against modern organizations
- Apply fundamental risk management principles to quantify risk, identify relevant controls, and enact risk mitigation strategies
- Evaluate enterprise security across networks, applications, and architectures, using established frameworks, such as NIST CSF
The curriculum for the Advanced Certificate in Cybersecurity is a subset of the graduate curricula in Information Systems, thus potentially allowing students the option to apply to and enroll in our master’s level programs.
Program Highlights:
- Management focus
- Online Labs
