The Advanced Certificate in Real Estate Finance provides an in-depth look into the major concepts, principles, and analytical methods that are useful for making investment and finance decisions regarding real estate assets. Preliminary Courses and Waivers
Preliminary Courses (3 credits)
Students with appropriate academic preparation will be able to reduce the number of credits in preliminary credits.

FIN 9770 is waived based on 3-credtis of prior course work in financial management, corporate finance, introduction to finance, finance fundamentals, real estate finance, or investments with a B- or better.
Required Courses
Students must take and satisfactorily complete three graduate-level real estate courses listed below. The Advanced Certificate in Real Estate Finance is awarded to students upon completion of these courses with a minimum grade point average of 2.7. Requirements must be completed within three calendar years of enrollment in the Certificate program.

* Completed Certificate courses carry graduate-level credits that may later be transferred to any of the Zicklin Masters Level programs when applicable and appropriate. These programs require students maintain a minimum average GPA of 3.0.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants to the Certificate program must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or the equivalent degree in a foreign country). GMAT/ GRE is not required for entry into the certificate program.
Students interested in continuing their education and obtaining a Master’s-level degree at Zicklin will have to apply to and be admitted into these programs separately.
