Program Format

- Two week immersive pre-term orientation
- Daytime classes in the first semester, then a shift towards late afternoon and evening classes for the remainder of the program with optional internship.

Is This Program for You?
The Zicklin Evening MBA is for working professionals who seek maximum flexibility in completing their degree requirements. While most of our students are employed, they are at various points in their personal and professional lives.

- 48 credits, primarily evening
- An average of six credits (two or three courses) each fall and spring semester with summer and January intersessions.

About the Programs
Zicklin’s MS degree programs offer concentrated, in-depth study in a business discipline for students with baccalaureate degrees in business and non-business areas.
Is This Program for You?
The MS is for students with well-defined interests who wish to maximize their expertise. Because the MS is more specialized, fewer courses are required than for the MBA.

- 30-credit minimum
- Full-time and part-time evening courses

This 20-month program runs on a trimester schedule. New students begin their first year with Boot Camp in late July/August. Credit-bearing classes begin in September and end in June.

Doctor of Business Administration program
About the Program
The Zicklin Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program is designed for senior executives who seek empirical knowledge and research experience at the doctoral level. The program is structured to give you a very thorough understanding of business research and to prepare you for your own research on complex problems in business.
You will be studying with doctoral faculty in the AACSB-accredited Zicklin School of Business, ranked highly among US graduate business schools by US News and World Report. Our PhD faculty have developed a unique multi-disciplinary curriculum that employs a wide range of traditional and cutting-edge research methodologies to address the key business issues of the day.
Graduates will take courses such as quantitative and qualitative data analysis, econometrics, and leadership. These will prepare you to thrive in the C-suite, broaden your opportunities as consultants, and enter the college classroom as a professor.
Is This Program for You?
We seek candidates in senior management positions, with 7 or more years of managerial experience, who are dedicated to learning about research in business and applying their research skills to complex problems in business. You should already have a graduate degree in business from an AACSB accredited institution because we will transfer some of those credits to the Doctorate.
Most of our students will continue working full time in business, but we also welcome those who are interested in transitioning to a career in education.
Program Format
- Members of an entering class remain together in the same cohort.
- In the first two years of the program, executive students come to campus for in-person classes for three residencies each semester. The residencies run from Thursday evening through mid-day Sunday.
- In the summers and the third year, students work individually on their dissertations with two co-advisors, and often stay in touch with members of their cohort and current students through optional Sunday programs.
Program Duration
This is a three-year program.
In the first and second year, students take courses during the traditional fall and spring semester schedule, beginning in September and ending late May. In the third year, students work with advisors on their dissertation research.
The summers after the first and second years of courses are devoted to research.
