Our career coaches offer 1:1 appointments in-person and virtually to work with students and alumni on various career topics including:
- Career exploration and decision-making
- Navigating your current workplace
- Job and internship search strategy

- Personal branding and social media assessment

Career Content and Resources
The GCMC offers graduate students and alumni a wide range of career content and resources tailored to their success and development. These include resume, cover letter, interview, networking and career planning toolkits. Students can also explore opportunities to build practical experience through case competitions, support for international students, procedures for enrolling in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), and much more. Resources in the Job Application Materials category provide tools and guidelines for building a solid resume, writing an effective cover letter, optimizing a LinkedIn profile, and utilizing Handshake. Each toolkit contains steps and examples to educate and guide students on presenting their qualifications, experiences, and professional persona. Resources for International Students
The Resources for International Students section includes Curricular Practical Training (CPT) resources such as a step-by-step guide and instructional video on registering for the Graduate Internship Course, a requirement to obtain CPT. It also includes access to Interstride, a platform designed specifically for international students to assist with career services, networking, and navigating the complexities of studying and working in the US.
