The application to join the IB major in the fall 2024 semester will be open from May 28, 2024 to August 15, 2024.  Please contact the IB Major Coordinator for any questions. 

Because of the way it is trained, ChatGPT and other generative AI software are good at repeating basic knowledge and generating impersonal responses but cannot write a personal essay that speaks to your own unique goals, motivations and aspirations. Other than the use of ChatGPT for basic proofreading purposes, students are warned that a ChatGPT-generated essay is unlikely to render a strong application.
