The Zicklin School of Business (ZSB) is suspending GPA requirements for Zicklin admission, and for eligibility to continue in the Accounting and Finance majors. The following one-time modifications apply only to the Zicklin admission cycle ending Spring 2020.
Admission to Zicklin
- Students who successfully complete all the pre-business core courses will be admitted to ZSB regardless of their GPA in those courses.
- A student’s overall Baruch GPA will not affect admission to ZSB.
This one-time policy change applies only to those students who were not previously rejected for admission to ZSB. The modified policy applies to our current students and transfer students admitted into Baruch College for Summer 2020.
Eligibility to Continue in the Accounting or Finance Major
- Students majoring in Accountancy will be allowed to continue in the major as long as they successfully complete the following four courses: ACC 3000, 3100, 3200, and 3202. Students’ GPA in these four courses will not affect eligibility to continue in the major.
- Students majoring in Finance will be allowed to continue in the major as long as they successfully complete the three required courses in the major (FIN 3610, FIN 3710, ECO 4000). Students’ GPA in these three courses will not affect eligibility to continue in the major.
This one-time policy change applies only to those students who were not previously deemed ineligible to continue in the ACC/FIN majors.
