MS Accountancy Credit Range: 30 – 70 credits
MS Accountancy - General Track
The credits for this program range from 30 – 70 credits. The MSA is well-suited for those with bachelor’s degrees in accounting and other business areas desiring to pursue a career in public accountancy.
This curriculum is effective for students who enter in Spring 2024 and beyond. Students who entered in a prior semester should consult the Graduate Bulletin for their semester of entry or consult their program advisor.

Students with baccalaureate degrees in business or Accountancy, who have taken courses equivalent to those listed under the “General Business” and “Accounting and Taxation” sections, must achieve the minimum 30 credits required to earn the MS in Accountancy.
After the application of waivers, students may choose any 9000-level course offered in the Zicklin School of Business. This does not include courses on the list of general business requirements that have been waived.

Students who have received waivers for a significant portion of the general business, and accounting and taxation courses, must take additional Zicklin graduate elective courses of their choice in order to achieve the minimum 30 credits required to earn the MS in Accountancy degree.

MS Accountancy - Information Analytics (STEM) Track
The credits for this program range from 30 – 33 credits, once all waivers have been applied.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting from a regionally accredited U.S. university.
- All undergraduate coursework must have been completed no more than 5 years prior to your intended entry term.
- This curriculum is effective for students who enter in Fall 2024 and beyond.
