➤ New Online MBA students 

  • Online MBA students will have an “Advisement Required” hold on their records for the entire duration of their program, which will prevent students from making schedule adjustments.
  • Course registration is completed in group sessions with the support of an advisor. Prior to the session, students will receive an email containing preparation information.
  • Schedule changes that need to be made after the registration session will be done in consultation with an advisor.

➤ Important Registration Information

  • All courses in the online program follow a 7-week format with one weekly online synchronous meeting.
  • Currently, courses are scheduled to meet virtually (Zoom) on Wednesdays after 6:00 pm.
  • Required courses must be completed through the online program.
  • Students can take electives offered within the 14-week traditional program, but advisor approval is required.
  • Students can take at least one course during the Summer Session III Academic Calendar. The specific meeting dates will be communicated to students via email.
  • Review the 7 week academic calendar for dates and deadlines.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR

➤ Academic Program Overview & Expectations

  • Faculty may require students to turn on their cameras in online courses during class periods or for remote testing purposes.
  • Class commitment – about 20 hours per course per week (includes time to task for completing readings, assignments & coursework).
  • Students may have coursework to complete before the first-class meeting.
  • Courses may have groupwork components.
  • Timeframe may be provided for exam completion.
  • Virtual faculty office hours.
