Required Course Scheduling Notes:
Students planning to graduate in three semesters should map out their course planning as follows:
- First semester (if STA 9708 required): STA 9708, CIS 9340, & CIS 9650
- Second semester: CIS 9660
- Final semester: BUS 9430
BUS 9430 Business Analytics Project Lifecycle Management is a required capstone course and is completed later in the program.
MS students will receive an email from the advising team with more specific information related to your program requirements. New students should note that evaluations will be sent to the same email address that you used to apply to your degree program.
Students with appropriate academic background will be able to reduce the number of credits in preliminary requirements.

Courses are reviewed based on Baruch undergraduate-level courses. If you earned your BBA in Computer Information Systems, Statistics or Quantitative Modeling you may receive course substitutions for the following courses:
Students who have been granted a course substitution can take as the replacement any Zicklin 9000-level course, provided they have the necessary prerequisite.
