➤ New Online MS Business Analytics/AI & Business Analytics students

  • Online students will have an “Zicklin Online Programs” hold on their records. Students must attend an advisement session with the online advising team before this hold can be removed and before you are permitted to register for classes.
  • After the advisement session, students will receive an email with course information.

➤ Important Registration Information

  • All courses in the online program follow a 7-week format with online asynchronous course modality.
  • If you completed your undergraduate degree at Baruch, course substitutions cannot be applied to the online program.
  • Required and Concentration courses must be completed through the online program.
  • Students can take 6 credits of electives offered within the 14-week traditional program, but advisor approval is required.
  • Be sure to review the 7-Week 1 and 7-Week 2 dates and deadlines for all semesters, including Summer.

Academic Calendar

➤ Academic Program Overview & Expectations

  • Class commitment – about 15 hours per course per week (includes time to task for completing readings, assignments & coursework).
  • Students may have coursework to complete before the first-class meeting.
  • Courses may have groupwork components.
  • Coursework includes weekly assignments, projects and/or exams.
  • Timeframe may be provided for exam completion.
  • Virtual faculty office hours.
  • All online MS Business Analytics/AI & Business Analytics students will be waived from MKT 9703: Marketing Management. The waiver will allow students to enroll in upper-level Marketing courses.
  • As of Fall 2026, new students will be in the newly titled program.

Students entering Fall 2026 should follow the MS AI & Business Analytics curriculum.

Students who entered prior to Fall 2026 should follow the MS Business Analytics curriculum.
