  • Online students will have an “Zicklin Online Programs” hold on their records. Students must attend an advisement session with the online advising team before this hold can be removed and before you are permitted to register for classes.
  • After the advisement session, students will receive an email with course information.

*Note: If not waived from ECO 9740 and ECO 9730, students should take these classes in their first year.

  • All courses in the online program follow a 7-week format with online asynchronous course modality.
  • Required courses must be completed through the online program.
  • Students can take electives offered within the 14-week traditional program, but advisor approval is required.
  • Review the 7-week academic calendar for dates and deadlines.

  • Class commitment – about 20 hours per course per week (includes time to task for completing readings, assignments & coursework).
  • Students may have coursework to complete before the first-class meeting.
  • Courses may have groupwork components.
  • Timeframe may be provided for exam completion.
  • Virtual faculty office hours.
  • Be sure to review the 7-Week 1 and 7-Week 2 dates and deadlines for all semesters, including Summer.
