Waiver Criteria for Preliminary requirements
Students may be waived from preliminary requirements based on prior coursework from a regionally accredited institution. Students must meet both the letter grade and time limit requirements. The department has determined the following equivalencies.
You will receive an individualized email from the MS Program Office indicating which courses you have been waived from and which courses you are required to complete. The preliminary courses are prerequisites for many of the required courses in the MS FIN and MS FRM programs.
Please note that the Certified Financial Analyst® (CFA) charter is not sufficient to waive preliminary requirements.
