- There are no preliminary courses for MS Information Systems.
- Students do not receive an evaluation and can enroll when their registration appointment time allows.

- CIS 9590: Information Systems Development Project is the required capstone course and is completed later in the program.
Baruch Undergrads - Course Substitutions
If you earned your BBA in:
- Computer Information Systems
- Statistics
- Quantitative Modeling
You may receive course substitutions for the following courses (see table).

NOTES
- Students will need to email ZicklingraduateAdvising@baruch.cuny.edu if they need course permission to enroll in a next-level course using an undergraduate course as a prerequisite.
- Students will need to email ZicklingraduateAdvising@baruch.cuny.edu after completing the course and the final grade is posted, so the course substitution can be entered on the DegreeWorks degree audit.
New York State CPA Licensure
Students with undergraduate degrees in Accountancy, who intend to meet New York State CPA Licensure requirements, should review additional information here:

Baruch Undergraduates in Accountancy:
- Students who earned their undergraduate BBA in Accountancy from Baruch and wish to fulfill New York State CPA Licensure requirements can take an ACC elective towards the MS IS.
- Students should aim to complete their Accounting elective after their first semester in the program.
