Graduate Teaching Assistantships are not guaranteed for future semesters.
➤ Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Assisting faculty with the following:
- Administering synchronous online or in-person class sessions (monitoring chats, answering questions, etc.)
- Monitoring online discussion boards and responding to student emails.
- Preparing, administering, and proctoring exams and other assignments.
- Grading discussion boards, assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Assisting students with the following:
- Navigating online textbook auxiliary sites and materials.
- Navigating online exams and assignments.
- Liaising with BCTC to assist with resolving tech issues for students and faculty.
➤ Compensation:
Graduate Teaching Assistants will be hired for up to 80 hours and will be paid $20 per hour.
➤ Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Zicklin School of Business master’s level program.
- Executive Programs students are not eligible for these positions.
- Have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Students in their first semester are not eligible.
- International students must fulfill the appropriate VISA requirements in order to work in the United States.
- A Social Security Number is required for payroll compensation.
- If you receive an offer and don’t have a Social Security number, promptly work with the College administrative offices to obtain one to ensure timely payroll compensation before your semester assignment ends.
- Students who are not enrolled full-time (less than 9 credits) must coordinate with Human Resources for fingerprinting and pay a one-time fee of $88.50 as part of New Hire Procedures.

If you are accessing the Baruch College website from off-campus or using the Baruch wireless network, please follow the instructions below to use Remote Access.
Step 1: The Virtual Desktop and log in to OneDrive
- Access the Student Remote Access Remote Access for Students
- Select Virtual Desktop. (this may take 2-4 minutes to process)
- Open File Explorer, Click on “One Drive” and initiate the OneDrive sign-in.
- Enter your Baruchmail login (or CUNYLogin after 4/13/2026)
- You may be asked to enter MFA
- Follow and accept the prompts to connect your One-Drive connection to this Virtual Desktop
When you log out of this Virtual Desktop will be deleted, no personal information will be stored.
Step 2: Upload a file into one the Zicklin App forms
- Select the Chrome browser icon on the Virtual Desktop
- Navigate to the Zicklin School of Business Graduate Assistant Application.
- When you need to upload a file, navigate to the file section on the form
- Click upload and the file explorer will open, navigate to your OneDrive-CUNY folders to access your files in your OneDrive.
- Select the file and click upload
- You have successfully uploaded a file from your OneDrive
