Online Degree Programs Orientation

Welcome Incoming Online Degree Program Students!

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Zicklin School of Business @ Baruch College! We are excited to have you join the Zicklin Community!

Orientation for our incoming students will relay critical themes that will support academic and professional success at Zicklin and beyond. In addition, orientation will help you transition into Baruch College smoothly and make you feel as prepared as possible as you embark on this new academic journey.

As part of orientation programming, incoming online degree programs students are required to review some online asynchronous content (self-paced videos and readings). However, Online Degree Program students are also invited to some of the orientation activities that are designed for all of our entering MBA and MS students.

Student engagement is a critical aspect of the Zicklin experience. We will be hosting an in-person Graduate Club Fair where students will be introduced to a variety of graduate student clubs and organizations at Zicklin and will have the opportunity to meet, network, and connect with incoming and continuing students! If you are not able to attend the Club Fair, you still have the opportunity to become an active club member. As we get closer to the event, all incoming students will receive club introductory videos to learn about each club, their involvement in the campus community, and ways incoming students can join a graduate club/organization.

The Graduate Career Management Center (GCMC) serves as a critical resource for career exploration and preparation. We have developed some virtual programming that will focus on the support services and resources offered by GCMC to students throughout their time at Zicklin.

Please carefully review the orientation schedule below and register for all the sessions.

We are delighted that you have chosen to attend Baruch College and look forward to welcoming you officially at orientation!
