The Zicklin Graduate Student Ambassador Program provides leadership roles for graduate students to represent and promote the Zicklin School of Business. Ambassadors share their experiences, offer information on academic programs and campus life, and encourage students to utilize resources to maximize their potential.
Ambassadors collaborate with various Zicklin offices, including Graduate Programs, Graduate Admissions, the Graduate Career Management Center, and the Marketing & Communications team.

Eligibility Requirements
- All students must be in good academic standing, earning and maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and must also be in good disciplinary standing.
- All students must have completed minimum 9 credits in the program.
- 1st semester students may apply if currently registered for minimum 9 credits in the Fall semester.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Represent the college at on-and-off campus recruitment events, panel discussions, and campus tours.
- Use Zicklin-approved social media to increase awareness about Zicklin and the ambassador program.
- Represent the current student body in publications, communications, & Zicklin website.
- Serve as a point of contact for admitted students and refer them to campus resources.
- Support events and initiatives by various Zicklin offices/departments.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Graduate Programs to develop student engagement programming.
- Provide feedback on student interests and assist with ambassador recruitment.
- Respond to student inquiries and represent the program at new student orientation.

- Ability to work with a diverse student population, faculty, and staff.
- Exhibit leadership, enthusiasm, and positive attitude.
- Demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal), listening, organizational, and time management skills.
- Knowledgeable of Zicklin School of Business & Baruch College programs, services, and resources.
- Possess the ability to listen, problem solve, and manage stress effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to speak comfortably to a wide range of audiences.
- Possess a willingness to improve areas for growth and development.
Time Commitments
- One-year commitment required.
- Participate in 2-3 ambassador-related engagements per month.
- Check in with the Assistant Director of Graduate Programs throughout the semester and attend mandatory meetings/trainings when needed.
- New ambassadors must attend a mandatory training prior to the start of the semester to go over duties, responsibilities, and expectations.
