Course Selection
International students need to be registered for 9 credits in fall and spring to be considered full-time. Part-time students typically take 6 credits per semester.

- Other required course notes:
- CIS 9490 Systems Analysis and Design has a prerequisite of CIS 9340. Students planning to graduate in three semesters should complete this course in their second semester so that they are ready to enroll in the capstone course CIS 9590 in their third semester.
- CIS 9590 Information Systems Development Project is the required capstone course and is completed later in the program. The pre-requisites are CIS 9490 and CIS 9340. Plan your registration for CIS 9590 based on your expected date of graduation.

Baruch Undergraduates in Accountancy

If you earned your BBA in Accountancy and wish to fulfill NYS CPA requirements you will be required to take an ACC elective. Students should aim to complete their Accounting elective after their first semester in the program.
