About the Program

Join us at Baruch College on February 27th for a heartfelt tribute to Professor Ivan Montiel, an esteemed professional, and cherished friend and colleague who passed away a year ago. This event aims to honor his profound influence on the diverse spheres of our lives and professional pursuits.

Professor Montiel was a Professor in the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York, and Associate Editor for Business & Society. He also served as a volunteer mentor and scholar on the Organizing Committee for the PRME World Tour Research Paper Development Programme. He led the PRME Chapter North America workshop in November 2022 and contributed significantly to its success, as well as the success of the preceding workshops across the world.

Professor Montiel was a kind and invested educator, researcher, and colleague, and he will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. We will bring together colleagues, friends and associates to celebrate his enduring impact and the meaningful connections he forged throughout his distinguished career and life.
