Entrepreneurial Lunch and Learn: From Madison Avenue to Rikers Island- The Making of a Social Entrepreneur

November 2, 2022 at 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm EDT

Using the skills from decades of advertising experience on NYC’s Madison Ave, hear how author and Baruch College alum, Mark Goldsmith founded GOSO, Getting Out and Staying Out, a non-profit organization which supports previously incarcerated young men of color transition back to society through education, employment, and mental health programming. Mark will share the fundamentals of starting a non-profit and how he used skills from his 35 year career to give back and make an impact.

Great news! Three Baruch students attending will win a free copy of Mark’s book: “From Madison Avenue to Rikers Island- The Making of a Social Entrepreneur”
