DESCRIPTION:About the Program\nJoin the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity for a captivating fireside chat featuring two distinguished professionals from the finance industry with Matthew Larson\, Jefferies Group Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)\, and Professor Kenneth Abbott\, a Distinguished Lecturer in Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business Law Department. \nJoin us as these esteemed professionals engage in a dynamic conversation\, offering insights into their respective journeys in finance\, navigating challenges\, and sharing valuable perspectives on the industry. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge and inspiration from two remarkable individuals. \n  \nSpeakers\nMatthew Larson is Jefferies Group’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). \nMr. Larson was previously the CFO of Barclays Americas\, as well as CFO of Barclays PLC’s Global Markets business. Prior to Barclays\, Mr. Larson was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where he held several roles in the Finance Division. Mr. Larson\, a Certified Public Accountant\, graduated from Idaho State University\, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance. \n\nProfessor Kenneth Abbott is a Distinguished Lecturer in Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business Law Department. Professor Abbott is retired as America’s Chief Risk Officer at Barclays Bank in 2018. Prior to that he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) for all Firm Risk at Morgan Stanley\, a position he held for over nine years.  While at Morgan Stanley he covered Commodities\, Rates\, FX\, Retail and Emerging Markets businesses\, and was CRO for Morgan Stanley’s buy-side activity.  \nProfessor Abbott has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University; a Master of Arts in Economics and Master of Science in Statistics and Operations Research from New York University.  He is an avid musician\, playing clarinet\, saxophone\, oboe\, English horn\, and tuba. \n\n \n\nSchedule\n12:00 pm – Registration and Lunch \n12:30 pm – Fireside Chat \n2:00 pm – Q&A  \n \nRegistration\nComplimentary registration is required to attend this program.
