About the Program

The Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity is pleased to host a special fireside chat with Matt Levine, acclaimed columnist for Bloomberg News and author of the widely-read “Money Stuff” newsletter. Known for his sharp insights and engaging commentary on finance, markets, and corporate behavior, Mr. Levine offers a unique perspective that has sparked conversations across industries.

This dynamic and wide-ranging conversation promises to explore thought-provoking ideas on the evolving landscape of business, finance, and beyond. With no set agenda, the discussion will naturally flow, offering authentic insights, meaningful engagement as well as Mr. Levine’s fabled wit.

About the Speakers

Matthew Levine is a columnist at Bloomberg Opinion. His daily newsletter is called Money Stuff. He has been at Bloomberg since 2013.  Before that, he wrote for Dealbreaker.

Before journalism, Mr. Levine was a corporate equity derivatives banker at Goldman Sachs, a mergers-and-acquisitions lawyer at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a federal appellate law clerk and a high school Latin teacher.

Mr. Levine graduated from Syosset High School, Harvard College and Yale Law School.

Lin Peng holds the title of Krell Chair Professor of Finance at Baruch College, the City University of New York, where she also serves as the PhD program coordinator. She is also an associate editor for Management Science and the Journal of Empirical Finance, a visiting scholar at Princeton University, and a member of the management committee for the Keynes Fund for Applied Economics at the University of Cambridge. 

She has published her work in leading economics and finance journals, with many among the top 50 journals as ranked by the Financial Times, including the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance (lead article), Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial Economics. She has also won various grants and awards for her research, and Best Paper Awards at multiple leading conferences.
