Chengxin Cao, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. She received her PhD in Management Information Systems from University of Minnesota. Chengxin’s research focuses on the business value of information technology (IT). The broad goal of her research is to examine the expected and unexpected consequences of information system adoption in the contexts of mergers and acquisitions, firm information provision, and healthcare management. Chengxin also holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy.
