Kishore Tandon, PhD, has been Professor of Finance at Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business since 1981 and served as the chair of the Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance from 2004 to 2013.
A well-known expert in the areas of emerging markets, international corporate finance, and foreign exchange derivatives, he has published over 40 academic papers in leading finance journals, presented over 75 papers at various finance conferences, and served as an associate editor of several journals.
Dr. Tandon has consulted for international organizations including The World Bank and The United Nations Development Program, having led UN missions to Republic of Georgia and Bangladesh on privatization and development of capital markets. As a consultant to several large Chinese banks (China Construction Bank, Bank of China, and CITIC Bank) and major financial institutions such as Bloomberg, Dr. Tandon provides customized training in finance and banking to hundreds of senior bankers. He has also provided consulting services on USAID programs for India with Price Waterhouse and IBM Consulting.
Dr. Tandon received his PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Pittsburgh
