Join us as we release up-to-the-minute results of an econometric measure called CATFIN that forecasts macroeconomic risk. The higher the CATFIN, the worse the economic downturn. March 2020 showed that CATFIN was the highest it has ever been since 1973 – exceeding even the 2008 measures that forecast the 2009 recession. However, results from the first half of April 2020 suggest a V-shaped recovery.
