Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management

The N. P. Loomba Department of Management is home to world-class scholars and educators in a broad range of disciplines related to the theory and practice of management.

Our research faculty span four broad areas: Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Operations and Decision Analytics, and Sustainable Business. Our faculty hold editorial positions in the top journals in these disciplines and regularly give lectures at national and international conferences and other academic institutions.

Our faculty anchor Zicklin’s core BBA and MBA curricula in management, strategy, operations, and quantitative methods, and they contribute heavily to its executive programs, including the Executive MBA, the Executive MBA in Healthcare Administration, and Executive MS in Human Resource Management. We are also home to the Business Consulting program where BBA and MBA students gain experience working on real-time, real-world business challenges.

We contribute to two of Zicklin’s six PhD concentrations, and we support two active research seminar series: Delta, covering a full range of management topics including organizational behavior, ethics, sustainability, and strategy; and Omega, focused on operations and its interfaces with mathematics, economics, marketing, and data science.
