Baruch College has been approved by The Appraisal Foundation Real Estate Degree Review Program. This approval gives students the opportunity to gain required qualifying education hours toward an appraisal license or certification while they are still in school and makes it easier for students to have those hours approved by the state licensing board.

Established in 1987, the Appraisal Institute Master’s Degree Program (MDP) offers individuals pursuing a master’s degree (typically an MBA with a concentration in real estate, MSRE, or MRED) at an AI-affiliated university to earn an MAI designation-based equivalency credit for some or all of the educational requirements needed for designated membership. The Appraisal Institute is proud to share an active affiliation with Baruch College (CUNY) in the Appraisal Institute Master Degree Program.

University Relations Committee: The University Relations committee focuses on fostering partnerships with universities located in and around New York City. The committee builds constructive relationships between the Chapter, the City and the involved universities to enhance the Chapter’s brand as a prominent network of Corporate Real Estate professionals in the New York City area.

The MBA of NY Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that fosters inclusive, community-minded real estate industry engagement through mentorship, education and financial support. The Scholarship Foundation puts the mission of the MBA of NY: advocating inclusive professional opportunity and education in real estate, into action. Additionally, the Foundation is a natural complement to our Mentor 360 Program, where successful real estate professionals share the wisdom of personal experience and industry expertise at critical points in the path toward success of our proteges.
