Baruch College has been approved by The Appraisal Foundation Real Estate Degree Review Program. This approval gives students the opportunity to gain required qualifying education hours toward an appraisal license or certification while they are still in school and makes it easier for students to have those hours approved by the state licensing board.


The Appraisal Institute is a global professional association of real estate appraisers, with nearly 17,000 professionals in almost 50 countries throughout the world. Our mission is to empower valuation professionals through community, credentialing, education, body of knowledge and ethical standards.

Organized in 1932, the Appraisal Institute advocates equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in the appraisal profession and conducts its activities in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. Individuals of the Appraisal Institute benefit from an array of professional education and advocacy programs, and may hold the prestigious MAI, SRPA, SRA, AI-GRS, and AI-RRS designations.

Established in 1987, the Appraisal Institute Master’s Degree Program (MDP) offers individuals pursuing a master’s degree (typically an MBA with a concentration in real estate, MSRE, or MRED) at an AI-affiliated university to earn an MAI designation-based equivalency credit for some or all of the educational requirements needed for designated membership. The Appraisal Institute is proud to share an active affiliation with Baruch College (CUNY) in the Appraisal Institute Master Degree Program.


CoreNet Global: CoreNet Global is a non-profit association, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (US), representing more than 10,000 executives in 50 countries with strategic responsibility for the real estate assets of large corporations. The organization’s mission is to advance the practice of corporate real estate through professional development opportunities, publications, research, conferences, designations and networking in 47 local chapters and networking groups globally.

University Relations Committee: The University Relations committee focuses on fostering partnerships with universities located in and around New York City. The committee builds constructive relationships between the Chapter, the City and the involved universities to enhance the Chapter’s brand as a prominent network of Corporate Real Estate professionals in the New York City area.


ICSC is the member organization for industry advancement. ICSC promotes and elevates the marketplaces and spaces where people shop, dine, work, play and gather as foundational and vital ingredients of communities and economies.


The MBA of NY Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that fosters inclusive, community-minded real estate industry engagement through mentorship, education and financial support. The Scholarship Foundation puts the mission of the MBA of NY: advocating inclusive professional opportunity and education in real estate, into action. Additionally, the Foundation is a natural complement to our Mentor 360 Program, where successful real estate professionals share the wisdom of personal experience and industry expertise at critical points in the path toward success of our proteges.
