Integrated BBA-MS Programs in Finance (MSF) and Financial Risk Management (MSFRM)

Zicklin School of Business now offers integrated MS in Finance and MS in Financial Risk Management programs to undergraduate Baruch students majoring in Finance. Baruch undergraduate students who meet the following criteria can be admitted into these programs using a simplified admission process.

Zicklin School of Business now offers integrated MS in Finance and MS in Financial Risk Management programs to undergraduate Baruch students majoring in Finance.

Baruch undergraduate students who meet the following criteria can be admitted into these programs using a simplified admission process.

To qualify for simplified admission, the students must:

  1. Apply in their senior year to start the MS program in the year they receive their BBA degree.
  2. Graduate from Baruch College with BBA in Finance
  3. Have at least 6 courses from the following list taken at Baruch College: all FIN courses and ECO 4000
  4. Have a GPA of 3.7 or higher in all FIN + ECO 4000 courses taken at Baruch College
  5. Have an overall Baruch GPA of 3.7 or higher

BBA students who are on track to satisfy these criteria are admitted conditionally prior to graduation. If these criteria are not met upon graduation, then the students will have to follow the standard application procedures.

Students who do not qualify based on the above criteria, can still apply, but they will need to submit all the required materials, including GMAT or GRE test scores.

Please, use the standard online application process, but note in your application that you are applying under the integrated BBA-MS program and are waived from the following:

  • Application essay
  • Standardized examination (GMAT/GRE) tests
  • Letters of recommendation
  • English language proficiency
