Bruce W. Weber, PhD, now the Willem Kooyker Dean of the Zicklin School, was director of the Subotnick Center when the Wasserman Trading Floor was named for the couple in 2000. “Sandy was enthusiastic that Zicklin was opening the first educational trading floor in the region and among the largest overall,” Dr. Weber recalled. “And when displaced Zicklin alums used it as their working trading floor after 9/11, her benevolence impacted not just our students and faculty, but New York’s financial community as well.”
