PwC Joins Zicklin Co-Op Program, Boosting Career Readiness for Undergraduates

August 28, 2025

Now entering its third year, the Zicklin Business Co-Op Program offers Zicklin undergraduates the opportunity to complete paid, semester-long, professional work experiences that prepare them for their careers without disrupting their studies. The latest employer-partner to join is PwC, the Big Four accounting and professional services firm.

The Zicklin Business Co-Op Program enables students to fully immerse themselves in their roles at partner companies, building the skills and confidence needed for long-term success. PwC’s participation offers students a chance to work in a high-impact, fast-paced environment during the firm’s busy season.

Julia Sudol and Bryan Ramirez Vazquez (both BBA, ’26) will enroll in the Zicklin School’s Master of Science in Accountancy program upon graduation. They are the first Zicklin Co-Op Program participants to complete PwC co-ops.

Julia’s positive experience helped her solidify her career aspirations, and she now plans to pursue taxation long term.

“PwC has a great work environment,” Julia shared. “It was a great feeling to be there in their offices. I met wonderful people, everyone was very open and helpful, and I learned so many things.”

Bryan, an accounting major, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the supportive culture and mentorship he received. “PwC’s culture is all about asking thoughtful questions and thinking critically,” he added.

Both students have been offered return co-ops starting in January 2026. Between their completed co-ops, their upcoming return internships, and their master’s programs, Julia and Bryan are well positioned for careers in professional services.

As the Zicklin Co-Op Program continues to grow, partnerships like the one with PwC are evidence that when students are given the time and space to focus on their careers, the results speak for themselves. Since the program’s launch in fall 2023, 39 students have been placed in various industries and functional areas, including accounting, data analytics, finance, human resources, marketing, operations, and technology.
