What’s in a Name? Ask These Zicklin School Professors

On October 17, the Zicklin School’s Willem Kooyker Dean, Bruce W. Weber, announced that professors Donal Byard (Stan Ross Department of Accountancy) and Yehuda Izhakian (Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance) had been appointed to endowed faculty positions. 

Prof. Byard was named to the Irving Weinstein Professorship in Accountancy, while Prof. Izhakian was chosen for the Neuberger Berman/Schwartz Family Chair in Finance. They were selected based on their distinguished and sustained records in teaching, scholarship, and service. 

“It is testimony to the productive, scholarly environment at Zicklin that these impressive candidates met and exceeded Baruch College’s expectations for research excellence and contributions in the school,” Dean Weber said.
