Zicklin School of Business Reaccredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)
July 20, 2020After a rigorous evaluation, the Zicklin School’s accreditation for both business and accounting has been ratified and extended for the next five years, the Zicklin School announced today.
“Congratulations to all of the administrators, faculty, staff, and students who contributed to this tremendous undertaking. As you know, AACSB accreditation is the mark of excellence in business education, attained by less than five percent of the world’s business schools,” said H. Fenwick Huss, Willem Kooyker Dean of the Zicklin School.
The Zicklin School has maintained accreditation by the AACSB since 1933, while the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy has maintained its separate AACSB accreditation since 1984. Of the 874 business institutions around the globe that have earned AACSB accreditation, the Zicklin School is one of 190 that have earned this dual accreditation.
Dean Huss said that Zicklin’s AACSB accreditation committees had devoted “countless hours” to the review process and in particular praised Paquita Davis-Friday, Senior Associate Dean for Administration and Finance, and Carol Marquardt, Chair of the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy, for their “outstanding” work in leading the reaccreditation efforts. He thanked the entire Zicklin faculty for their commitment to providing the highest quality business education available.
