Zicklin School Rises 16 Spots on Bloomberg/ Businessweek “Best B-Schools 2023-24” List
October 2, 2023The Zicklin School rose 16 spots on the Bloomberg/Businessweek “Best B-Schools 2023-24” list, placing in the top 50 nationwide at #48, as published by the news website in September.
This year, schools were rated based on five indexes—compensation, learning, networking, entrepreneurship, and diversity—that Bloomberg considers “fundamental elements” of business education. Zicklin’s ranking marks a significant increase from both 2022’s, when the School of Business ranked #64, and 2021’s, when it placed at #81.
The improvement results from Bloomberg’s new, more rigorous methodology, which leaned heavily on nearly 18,000 opinion surveys completed by diverse stakeholders, including graduating students, recent alumni, and companies that recruit MBA graduates. Stakeholders were asked detailed questions about jobs, salaries, classroom learning, alumni networks, and other topics.
“We’re delighted with these results,” said Helaine Korn, executive director of graduate programs at the Zicklin School of Business. “They’re a reflection of all the efforts of our faculty, administrators, staff, and partners in the business community to create meaningful, impactful experiences for our students in the classroom and beyond.”
