Out of more than six million researchers around the world, the Stanford-Elsevier list named professors Sankar Sen, the Lawrence and Carol Zicklin Chair in Corporate Integrity and Governance (Allen G. Aaronson Department of Marketing), Scott Newbert, Lawrence N. Field Chair in Entrepreneurship (Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation), Marios Koufaris (Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics), Raquel Benbunan-Fich (Chook Department), and Theodore Joyce (Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance) as among the top two percent of scientists worldwide. The Stanford-Elsevier list is based on how many articles researchers have published and how often their work is cited by other researchers—in other words, how influential their research is among their peers.
“I’m delighted that Zicklin faculty members have been recognized internationally for their scholarship in economics, marketing, information systems, and entrepreneurship,” said the Zicklin School’s Willem Kooyker Dean, Bruce W. Weber. “This demonstrates the Zicklin School’s dedication to scholarly excellence and developing cutting-edge business insights.”
