All three of Zicklin’s graduate MBA programs – Full-Time MBA, Evening MBA, and MBA Accounting – were ranked #1 among public institutions in New York City in U.S. News & World Report’s “2021 Best Graduate Schools” list.

Faculty member Alex Mills, an associate professor in the Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management, authored an article on mass casualty management during a pandemic in the journal Health Management, Policy, and Innovation.

Students from Zicklin’s Executive MBA in Healthcare Administration took 2nd place in the 2020 BAHM Case Competition which was held at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and the Boston University Institute for Health System Innovation & Policy. The winning students included Alana Noble-Kirk, Eve Gottesman, and Charles Connelly.
 

Faculty member Douglas Carmichael, the Claire and Eli Mason Professor of Accountancy in the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy, was interviewed in The Trusted Professional, the newspaper of the New York State Society of CPAs, about the Securities and Exchange Commission’s proposed changes to auditor regulations.

Faculty member Kevin Craig, an assistant professor in Paul H. Chook Department of Information and Statistics, was quoted in a Wall Street Journal article about introducing new technology in the workplace.

Faculty member Jayesh Dahya, Associate Professor of Finance, was interviewed in WalletHub about a survey showing that 36 percent of Americans fear maxing out their credit cards.

Faculty member Marc Edelman, Professor of Law, was quoted in Brinkwire about NCAA basketball and NJ Online Gambling on transparency in college sports, and was interviewed on Connecticut Public Radio about online sports betting.

Faculty member Helaine J. Korn, Executive Director of Graduate Programs and Professor in the Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management, was interviewed in MetroMBA about what makes Zicklin grads unique.

Faculty member Seth Lipner, Professor of Law, commented in Advisor Hub on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s plan to toughen expungement rules in the interests of investor protection.

Alumnus Peter N. Shikar (BBA ’02, EMBA ’09) was promoted to First Vice President at CBRE, a commercial real estate and investment services firm.

The CPA Journal recently featured the Annual Audit Conference, hosted by the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity.

The Hartford Business Journal quoted two Zicklin MBA students in an article about the Northeast MBA Invitational, a job fair held at the University of Connecticut.
