April 14 Webinar: Reputational Risks for Organizations

A strong reputation may be an organization’s most valuable—and fragile—asset. In an era of tight regulation, instant social media, operational complexity, and rising public expectations, reputational problems rarely stay contained. A service outage, data breach, conduct failure, or misaligned incentives can quickly escalate into financial, regulatory, or leadership crises. How are reputations built, damaged, and restored in large organizations? Does trust support stronger performance and resilience? How can leaders manage reputational risk in practical, measurable ways? This webinar examines the drivers of reputational harm and how organizations can use early warning indicators, integrate reputational risk into enterprise risk management, and strengthen accountability across the organization. When crisis strikes, does trust make an institution more resilient? Or simply give it more to lose? Larry Zicklin (BBA, ’57) leads the discussion with Lauren Aydinliyim and Naomi Gardberg, faculty members in the Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management at the Zicklin School. With an introduction by Dean Bruce Weber and Q&A moderated by Associate Dean Gwendolyn Webb.
