Tumblr’s New Revenue Chief Found His Marketing Passion at Zicklin

Cavel Khan (MBA, ’05), a digital advertising veteran with experience at Microsoft, Twitter, and VICE Media, recently joined the social networking site Tumblr as Chief Revenue Officer. He sat down for a Q&A with Zicklin News. “My MBA is what allowed me to transition into the tech and advertising world,” he says.

She also co-authored a study with Professor Marios Koufaris in Electron Markets on adoption of personal intelligent agents.

Assistant Professor Yuanfeng Cai, Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics, co-authored a study in Decision Sciences on fraudulent rater detection in reputation systems.

Professor Christos Giannikos, Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance, was quoted in a Yahoo! Finance article, “The Twisted Mind of the Credit Market.”
 
Professor Debbie Kaminer, Department of Law, published an article in The Conversation on the legality of mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations.

Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics, co-authored two studies, one in the International Journal of Information Management on smart thermostats, and the other in the International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction on the motivations behind switching between multiple devices during a task.
