Five Zicklin BBAs Win Paid Fellowships
Recent Zicklin School BBAs Reema Doleh, Daliza Peralta, Mohammed Hashif, Taalat Ahmed (pictured; clockwise from upper right) and Ian Kessler (not shown) have won six-month paid fellowships at various bureaus within the Office of the New York City Comptroller. The program is part of a CUNY partnership created to jump-start careers for future New York City leaders.

Paquita Davis-Friday, Senior Associate Dean and Professor of Accounting, and Lee B. Boyar (MBA, ’12) wrote about bias in accounting for The CPA Journal, the official publication of the New York State Society of CPAs.

Does teletriage — telemedicine offering basic healthcare advice — help hospitals manage healthcare demand effectively? Not necessarily, according to research co-published by Associate Professor Alex Mills in Manufacturing & Service Operations Management.
Grad student Charles Mournet (MS, Statistics) had a virtual internship in supply chain this summer at Anderson-Negele, a manufacturer of hygienic instruments and sensors; a local newspaper wrote about his experience.
