In a decade-long review of business school rankings by Poets & Quants, the Zicklin School’s MBA program improved the most, rising 34 places.

Professor Marc Edelman, Department of Law, wrote in Forbes about U.S. Open champion Naomi Osaka’s unique racial justice message, and also about the University of North Carolina’s football schedule.

Professor Debbie Kaminer, Department of Law, was the guest expert on an AMA (American Medical Association) Journal of Ethics videocast about vaccine mandates, and was cited in a NEWSMAX article on mandatory COVID-19 vaccines.

Professor Richard Kopelman, Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management, published a textbook on improving organizational performance.

Professor Marios Koufaris and Associate Professor Nanda Kumar were quoted extensively in a BusinessBecause article about the school’s data science programs.

Adjunct professor Noel Lateef, president of the Foreign Policy Association — the nation’s oldest organization dedicated to citizen education in international affairs — has co-authored a special COVID-19 edition of America in the World, a collection of essays by policymakers and experts from diverse political perspectives. Lecturer Chris Meyer, Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management, co-wrote two articles in 2020: one in the Journal of Service Management and another in the Journal of Small Business & Entrepreneurship.

Assistant Professor Jihwon Park, Stan Ross Department of Accountancy, co-wrote an article in the Journal of Accounting and Economics on common ownership and disclosure incentives.

Alumnus Darren Riegler (MBA, ’03), a professional engineer who is senior vice president at with Michael Baker International in Ontario, CA, has been promoted, and now oversees additional offices in southern California.

Alumna Sheryll (Pang) Yu (BBA, ’14) was interviewed for a motivational podcast about how her experience at the Zicklin School helped her achieve upward mobility despite numerous obstacles in her early life.
